Apple continuity camera the feature allows Mac users to use their iPhone as a webcam during video calls. The function is seamlessly integrated into the Apple ecosystem and it goes without saying that it’s the best implementation we’ve seen so far. What you will need
When native support is not available, third-party apps and services are required. Aside from that, you’ll need some cables, Wi-Fi connectivity, and more.

There is no shortage of such apps and services. Some of them are Reincubate Camo, Droid Room, VibeCam, Smart Cametc. Don’t forget to check your privacy and security issues before using these apps and services.
How to set up and use your smartphone as a webcam
Regardless of which app or service you choose, the setup process remains nearly the same. The only difference may be in accessing apps and services, some may ask to connect via the cable and so on.
To begin with, you will need to download the app on your smartphone and on your laptop or computer.
Next, log in if prompted and then follow the onscreen instructions such as the connection method and other settings you need to change.
Once both your phone and laptop are connected via the app, launch the video conferencing app and go to Settings. Here change your preferred camera settings with the app name.
Once finished, the phone is now connected to a webcam. Just mount it on a tripod or stand and start making video calls.
