According to a new leak, it has been revealed that the Reno 9 Pro + 5G will succeed last year’s Reno 8 Pro + 5G. Well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station mentioned key speculations of the device.
According to the tipster, the Oppo Reno 9 Pro + will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC chipset processor instead of the new generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The phone is expected to have a 4,700mAh battery and will support 80W. The information is captured by MySmartPrice.
The Reno 9 Pro + is expected to be equipped with Oppo’s MariSilicon X NPU. Speaking of the sensor and camera, the leak hinted at a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor at the helm of the rear camera setup. On the front there will be a 32 MP selfie camera.
The leak also mentioned that the Reno 9 Pro + will consider a curved display. They said the Reno 9 Pro + could be equipped with an under-display fingerprint reader and that the phone will feature a glass body with a metal frame.
