John Horn interview with comedian Jo Koy from EASTER SUNDAY

Jo Koy is a Filipino American comedian and actor who recently starred in two specials on Netflix. His latest project deviates from stand-up comedy and sees the actor playing a version of himself in a version of his life. In the movie “Easter Sunday,” Koy plays a character who not only tries to balance work and parenthood, but also has to deal with Hollywood producers who want him to speak in a foreign accent he doesn’t have. KPCC’s John Horn caught up with Koy to talk about his new film and the importance of representation in cinema.
