Pep Guardiola’s side are now eight points behind league leaders Arsenal and a win will be crucial to keep their title hopes alive.

If Antonio Conte’s side come out on top here, they will give themselves a much-needed boost but will also strengthen their bitter rivals’ grip on top spot.
This Premier League clash will take place on Thursday, January 19.
Kick-off at the Etihad Stadium is scheduled for 8pm.
talkSPORT will have EXCLUSIVE live coverage of the game presented by Hugh Woozencroft.

Spurs were beaten in the north London derby last time out
Guardiola opted to start with Joao Cancelo at left-back against United but could decide to go with youngster Rico Lewis against Tottenham.
Jack Grealish came off the bench to score in the derby and may be rewarded with a start in place of Phil Foden.
As for Spurs, Dejan Kulusevski returned to the starting line-up against Arsenal while Richarlison was fit enough to make a substitute appearance.
Both players will be hoping to play their part at the Etihad this week.
Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma may return to the team after Pape Matar Sarr and Ryan Sessegnon were preferred last time out.
Man City defender Manuel Akanji is hoping his side can bounce back from defeat in the Manchester derby last time out.
He said: “Hopefully we can show [our improvement] on Thursday against Tottenham.
“It won’t be an easy game, but also when we get the lead, we have to be clear in our heads. We’ve got to finish our attacks, defend together until the last minute and keep a clean sheet.
“I think in every game if we can keep a clean sheet our attackers are always capable of scoring a goal. If we don’t concede goals, we can make the most of the game – that’s the goal for the next game.
“There are still 20 games to go, there are 60 points to get and hopefully we’ll get all of them.”
