Julian Alvarez: Man City star gave a fan his shorts after 4-2 Spurs win – GIVEMESPORT

Julian Alvarez is a serious, serious talent.
The Argentine was a relative unknown among average football fans when he arrived at Manchester City back in the summer.
City signed Alvarez from River Plate in January of last year and he then spent the remainder of the 2021/22 European season on loan at the Argentine club.
The 2022 World Cup winner was electric at the Buenos Aires-based team.
In 122 games with River Plate, Alvarez scored 54 goals and contributed 31 assists, seriously impressive numbers for someone so young.
As such, it should come as no shock that the 22-year-old is already lighting up the Premier League.
On Thursday evening, Alvarez scored his fourth English top-flight goal in City’s epic 4-2 comeback victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
It was Alvarez who kickstarted the fightback, the Argentine converting from close-range at the start of the second half to make it 2-1 to City.

The silky striker excelled in his position behind focal point Erling Haaland and Pep Guardiola will surely be handing him more game time from now until the end of the 2022/23 season.
As well as dropping something very close to a masterclass against Spurs, Alvarez made one fan’s night even more special after the full-time whistle had been blown.
The person in question is a River Plate supporter and Alvarez raced over to the touchline and gave them his shorts.
No, it’s not a typo, we didn’t mean to write shirt. The Argentine star really did hand over his shorts instead, which is a tad strange.
But the fan clearly didn’t care one iota…

El mismo muchacho que se encontró de la nada a Julián Álvarez paseando con su familia por liverpool, hoy en la cancha Julián se acercó para darle un abrazo y su short que uso en el partido.

Fair play, Julian.
The River Plate fan got a picture with Alvarez when he spotted the City forward walking around Liverpool – and then earned himself a rather unique souvenir.
So, after helping record a victory over Spurs and parting ways with some shorts, Alvarez will now switch focus to City’s next game.
The Citizens host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday in the Premier League and a win there would see them temporarily move to within two points of Arsenal.
After that match, City and the Gunners lock horns at the Etihad in the FA Cup fourth round, which promises to be a Friday night corker.
