Juventus started the season miserably as the club lost their opening two Champions League matches and struggled to win in Serie A. The Bianconeri won just two of their first seven Serie games A and take 8th place.
Massimiliano Allegri are under immense pressure as the club haven’t won any of their last 5 games. The Italian manager is likely to be sacked by the board soon if the results continue to disappoint. However, it is in the best interest of all parties for the manager to resign from his position.
It’s clear from the team’s style of play that a tactical change is needed for the players. Massimiliano Allegri failed to motivate the players and struggled to get the most out of it. Despite signing players like Angel Di Maria, Paul Pogba, and Leandro Paredes in the summer, the club struggled to win even back-to-back.
Juventus will struggle to fire Allegri but he should quit
The Italian manager led Juventus to several Serie A titles in his first spell and also led them to two Champions League finals. The club share a good relationship with the tactician and could struggle to fire him after a poor run of results.
However, Massimiliano Allegri is expected to respect the club’s love and affection and step down from his post after a run of disastrous form. The team seems disjointed and failed to impress anyone on the pitch. Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica comfortably beat the Bianconeri in their Champions League group games. It shows that the team is not even competitive against the best European teams.
The Old Lady was humiliated by Chelsea last season at Stamford Bridge and then knocked out by Villarreal in the Champions League. It shows that the Bianconeri haven’t been competitive against the European giants since last season. The team desperately needs a change and new ideas to change their season. Hopefully Allegri can achieve the same and step down from his role to make way for a new manager!!
