Mauricio Pochettino is set to turn down interest from Nice and await a role in another of Europe’s top leagues.
Pochettino has been without a club since leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and Nice were keen to offer the Argentine a quick return to management.
However, the Evening Standard reports that the former Spurs boss will turn down the offer and is not interested in taking on another role in France.
Pochettino will instead wait for a proposal from the Premier League, La Liga or Serie A, with Juventus an option that would likely be of interest as pressure mounts on Max Allegri in Turin.
The Italian side have won just two of their first seven league matches and opened the Champions League group stage with back-to-back defeats.
The 50-year-old has also been tentatively linked with Leicester, who are bottom of the Premier League after a difficult start to the season. The Foxes have lost six consecutive games in a streak that saw Brendan Rodgers’ position threatened at King Power Stadium.
